Financial support is always required. One off Gifts are great but Oasis India needs continuing support too. £40/month could provide anti-retoviral drugs for someone with HIV.

Work in progress and future ideas for development

Secure online giving using www.justgiving.com (same idea and method as used by stopthetraffik.org).

This will culminate in a "Give now" button, credit card support and recovery of UK income tax where appropriate. 

Thinking of other fundraising ideas too, Mission Fish/eBay for one.  Get people to sell their junk and give the proceeds.

Looking at Paypal's "text to give" service too.
